The annual party outside the quaint German village of Dinkelsbuhl got off to a rousing start, with a host of Swedish acts.
Team BraveWords took in the sights and sounds of the eight member (triple guitars and just as many vocalists) Brothers Of Metal, the technical death of Obscura, even greater technicality from Meshuggah, a surprise, unannounced set from HammerFall (on the small Tool stage), Peter Tägtgren & Pain and a late night set from Enslaved.
